FOOT HEEL PAIN

Foot heel pain can occur from many different maladies but the most common cause is heel spur syndrome or plantar fascitiis. This is due to the foot functioning abnormally causing the plantar fascia, which is a strong band on the bottom of the foot, to pull away from the heel bone. Patients oftentimes complain of pain when they first wake up in the morning.
Treatment For Foot Heel Pain
Treatments for foot heel pain include cortisone injections, anti-inflammatory medications, physical therapy, night splints, orthotics and/or surgery. Orthotics are generally the best long-term treatment for this problem, as symptomatic treatment, is more often than not, only temporary.
